This may look like a Rennsport racing tank for a 1950s twin, but it's actually made for a /5 & newer twin. Left side view of the same tank. The filler cap being used appears to be an English unit. Bottom view of the same tank. This tank was custom made out of aluminum for one of my web page readers in Europe. I'd love to see what it looks like mounted on a bike! I think that this is the largest Hoske tank that I have ever seen on a plunger twin! No estimates on the size, unfortunately. Another view of the same bike - a 1951 67. Note the later, full width plunger hubs being run using the stock front brake plate. We have seen this style Hoske tank before in other photos, but this view shows off the kneepad brackets well. There is no adjustment possible with this bracket, so that they only fit one way. The left and right brackets are the same as well. Note the raised edge around the outside, where the rubber kneepad is held on. Bottom view of the same tank as above. This shows off the recess in the bottom, made to clear the frame & top of the engine. Similar tank to the above blue tank, this time in black paint and all mounted up (also showing off the metal kneepad brackets, which are missing the rubber pads). If you look at the handlebar mounts, they are installed backwards - probably because the low bars will the tank at full lock.
